Olympic Gold Medalist Charged With Child Sex Abuse In Utah

James Edmond "Jimmy" Shea was arrested earlier this month and booked into jail on one count of sexual abuse of a child. He's since been released from jail.

The child was interviewed at the Children's Justice Center and reported being touched inappropriately by Shea on more than one occasion, the arresting officer with the Summit County Sheriff's Office wrote in a statement of probable cause for Shea's arrest.

A Rocky Mount man has been charged with felony child abuse following the death of his 7-year-old grandchild, according to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.
