A Pike County woman has been sentenced to probation for allowing a wild bear to come inside her house in 2018 while her children were present, according to multiple reports.

WBRE reported that Sherry Desmond was sentenced to 12 months of probation and fined $500 “after she allowed a black bear to enter her home while her child was present back in 2018.”
