Boyfriend Arrested After 1 Month Old Was Hospitalized With Life-Threatening Injuries

A man has been arrested after a four-week-old infant was transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.

24-year-old Dalton W. Arnold was charged with battery resulting in protracted loss or impairment and neglect of a dependent resulting in serious bodily injury.

Indiana State Police began a criminal investigation on May 21, after the infant was transported by ambulance from the Sullivan County Hospital Emergency Room to Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis.
