A property in the 1800 block of West 8th Street is being guarded as a crime scene tonight, this after an injury to an 17-month-old child resulted in the child’s death. Police were called around 7:15 p.m. for reports of a disturbance. Officers discovered the child had been driven by personal vehicle to the hospital. A Memphis woman is facing first-degree murder charges after police say she killed her husband’s girlfriend. According to a police affidavit, Pamela Castle, 36, went to an address on Feb. 13 to confront her husband’s girlfriend. The girlfriend called authorities and officers responded to the scene. An Abilene man has become the fifth suspect arrested for the murder of 20-year-old David Devora on December 31, 2019. Police told KTXS that Isaiah Xavien Arredondo, 20, was arrested on a charged felony murder charge. Arredondo's bail was set at $100,000. Charles Allan Olson, 43, has been arrested and accused of using sticks to spank young children and tying at least one to a chair.
